Critical SAP Commerce Cloud flaw lets attackers run code remotely
SAP has issued emergency patches for a maximum-severity security flaw (rated 10/10) in SAP Commerce Cloud that could let hackers run code on internal systems without logging in.
The vulnerability allows unauthenticated attackers to bypass basic checks and breach internal application data. It was found specifically in SAP's Data Hub Adapter, the tool used to sync online e-commerce data with the main SAP backend.
The fix arrived as part of SAP's broader August security release, which patched other critical bugs across its enterprise suite, like:
Severe code injection flaws that allowed low-privileged or external attackers to run system-level commands
Memory corruption bug that could let unauthenticated users crash systems or expose sensitive data.
